South Texas Security & Investigations requires applicants for security positions to undergo background investigations beyond the TXDPS requirements.  Preference is given to applicants who have experience as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, State Military Forces, or as Law Enforcement and Medical First Responders.

We are always looking for Level 2 (Unarmed Officers) and Level 3 (Armed Officers) who are ready to work and make a difference .

 

​Requirements:

Currently, or have the ability to be, Licensed by the Texas Private Security Bureau. We are a licensed school and can provide the training

21 years of age or older

Valid Texas Driver's License

Reliable transportation to and from work and cell phone

Qualifications:

Ability to operate a cell phone and two-way radio

Ability to effectively work under stressful conditions or situations.

Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.

Ability to accurately complete detailed incident reports

Ability to communicate and provide great customer service.

Ability to operate a patrol vehicle

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended times

Ability to work any hours - overtime available

Ability to work independently and communicate with an off-site supervisor

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Successfully pass a background investigation 

Strong attention to detail

Strong customer service and verbal communications skills
